This view of the Domed Church of Les Invalides and Eastern Paris is routinely photographed from the Eifel Tower, but not often seen in this wonderful, clear autumnal light.

    Wonderful, the soft light causin a reflection on the dome, the nearly clear air over Paris - a real good picture :-).

    And I agree - by setting the horizon to the middle and keeping the clouds it's a special picture of Paris - not light al the others from the same place ...

    I appreciate your concern, Martin. But could you really loose that wonderful cloud formation? That's my favourite part of the picture. Unfortunately you cannot loose the foreground, either, as this would result in the Domed Church being too near the bottom of the frame.
