Port of Baltimore - A View from Canton No. 2

From a pier in Baltimore's Canton district, the view is across the harbor to the expansive Seagirt Marine Terminal,
whose gantry cranes handle containerized freight shipments. On the horizon, the Francis Scott Key Bridge
rises high above the broad Patapsco River as it carries I-695, the Baltimore Beltway, on its Outer Harbor crossing.

I see, Steve, you travel a lot and go everywhere. Your spirit of enterprise seems boundless and inspires me with what you bring home with you. I enjoyed my trip to the USA and I am looking forward to seeing new impressions here. I like the attitude to life and the reality that America has to offer. Thank you for your insight into the port of baltimore. LG Jürgen

Thank you, Jürgen, for those kind words!
As you would know, having a camera at hand is a great "energizer."
I grew up in Baltimore, but it wasn't until I had more time to spend with my photography that I began to return and really appreciate this working city and all the varied motifs it has to offer. Perhaps you'll enjoy exploring my "Baltimore" folder to see just what I mean about the city's visual appeal to a photographer.
      Alles gute,
      Steve

I like to look at your Baltimore pictures one by one, Steve. Already alone, because I appreciate the visual variety which is in your many pictures for a long time. Photography is full of energy, awakens and mobilises. So I can also imagine what feelings of your childhood memory are now reflected in your pictures. I'm looking forward to it. Warm greetings Jürgen
