The Yellow Banded Polypore is a 2-coloured horseshoe shaped fungus with a woody and tough texture.
The fruiting body of this species develops velvety hairs on its surface as it matures.
Dutch name : Geelgerand elfenbankje
German name : Spitzwarzige Tramete
Latin name : Antrodiella hoehnelii
