Along the Nahe

On a photo-perfect winter afternoon, a Deutsche Bahn DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) train makes its way along the Nahe River.
The photo was taken from the high rocky bluff known as Rotenfels.
A big thank you to my German friend and fellow photographer Thomas Reitzel for being a patient and resourceful
Reiseführer on this visit, taking me to so many locations where both view and lighting were truly top-notch.

Breathtaking view down these cliffs which, by the way, are the highest north of the alps.Beautiful winter-light!
