At the WTC No.3 - Sneak-Peeking Michelangelo in the Oculus
Curious visitors in New York's Oculus on this June afternoon were able to get a few sneak peeks at the large photographic reproductions of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Ceiling paintings before being gently reminded by workers that the exhibit was not yet open to the public.
The soaring, light-bathed Oculus, designed by Santiago Calatrava is a an expansive transportation nexus in Lower Manhattan, connecting the underground PATH trains to points in New Jersey and providing indoor access to the major Subway hub at Fulton Center to the east, as well as offering shopping and restaurant venues.
