Greetings from Graubünden
In the sunshine of a splendid early autumn afternoon, the Glacier Express, headed
in the direction of St. Moritz, crosses the Landwasser Viadukt on the Rhätische Bahn.
Canton Graubünden, Switzerland.
From a Kodachrome-25 transparency.

Steve,is it a toy train or is it real. It must be an outstanding experience for the travellers going by this train. I can imagine that you had a good time in Switzerland.
Thanks and regards, Matthias

Marvellous and outstanding, Steve!Though, I have to admit, I would have preferred the train having proceeded more into the the curve and onto the bridge, thus showing more of the train´s length and also the little train bein dwarfed by the giant structure. And, even more, the engine would have appeared in front of the dark background here...
But anyway, I appreciate very much the sight above the gorge and onto the opposite meadow near the village of Schmitten and, not to be forgotten, the already snow covered peaks behind!
You really had the luck to pick the right time for the trip this time!
Cheers,
Tom
