Heading Home - A Tide Point Moment (Revisited)

Tide Point, in South Baltimore's Locust Point district, is a fascinating area in which harbor views,
residential neighborhoods, and industrial areas successfully coexist to form an inviting urban mosaic.

The woman and her baby are headed home after spending time on this sunny late
summer afternoon along the nearby promenade (*) overlooking Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

The "revisited" part of the title?
I'd previously presented this image in its original version. However, selecting images for a current
project caused me to take another look at it and, in this case, a black and white treatment suggested itself.

It was shot with a favorite film-era lens, the Tamron SP 60-300mm f/3.8-5.4 at its longest,
which on my crop sensor D-SLR meant the 35mm equivalent of 480mm (just in case you
were wondering about the apparent size of that "monster" rig in the background. ;-) )
