Little Red Train - Big Red Rock

A Diesel Multiple Unit train on the Deutsche Bahn's Nahe line at the village of Norheim.
Beyond it looms the craggy mass of Rotenfels, the highest rock formation north of the Alps.
The train has just tunneled through the big red rock, from atop which exciting vistas
were enjoyed of the trains running along the Nahe River on this sunny winter afternoon.
From an Ektachrome transparency.
