Manhattan-bound N Train Arrives Queensboro Plaza

It's rush hour on a December evening, and a Manhattan-bound N Train arrives on the lower
level of the elevated Queensboro Plaza subway station, Long Island City, Queens, NYC.

This train originated at Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. After transiting Manhattan as a Broadway Express,
the N Train will continue into Brooklyn, via the Manhattan Bridge, terminating at Stillwell Avenue, Coney Island.

Queensboro Plaza is a fascinating station for the Subway-enthusiast/photographer, as trains of both A-
(former IRT) and B-Divisions (former BMT) meet cross platform, thus allowing for shooting trains of different car profiles/length at opposite sides of platforms. The station is elevated with two track levels. This photo shows the
lower track level, but the structure of the \upper level can be seen at top. This level serves Manhattan-bound trains.
Across the platform, one can board the inbound 7 Train in the direction of 34th St/Hudson Yards.
