Red Maple Leaves in Early Spring
Looking perhaps "seasonally conflicted," the autumn-suggestive colors of these red maple leaves were nonetheless eye-catching against the pastels of early spring in the contra-light of golden hour of a mid-April afternoon in northern Virginia.
The leaves were captured through a Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 APO Sonnar T* MF lens,
which provided the equivalent of a 216mm view on my crop-sensor Canon 40D.
Prints and note cards available.
