SURF5UP - or See the USA ...

A V-8 powered harbinger of summers at the seashore, this 1962 Chevy Impala was
photographed on an evening in Havre de Grace, Maryland, during a visit a few years ago.

She makes her first appearance here.

Havre de Grace (*) is in northeastern Maryland, along a broad stretch of
the Susquehanna River, near the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay.

And, if you're too young to get the "See the USA" reference, the popular singer Dinah Shore
had a long-running relationship with the Chevrolet Division of General Motors and sang the
cars' praises on her weekly television show in the mid-20th century.
