With at least a few of its followers lifting a glass to Kodak's Tri-X on the
occasion of its introduction in roll film format 65 years ago this week...
Naturally, today's TX-400 is a much improved version, with much finer
grain, but lots of us cut our teeth on it...and evolved along with the film.
So, with that in mind, this TX-400 photo, taken at New York's South Street Seaport
on a photo-perfect afternoon in June 2013. It makes its first appearance here.
Happy Birthday, Tri-X. You're iconic and always great to shoot.
I feel like I've known you all my life ;-)
