Vogtland Winter
The winter sunshine on this February afternoon brings an inviting translucence to this stand of trees along the
Göltzsch River, close by the Göltzschtalbrücke viaduct, in the Vogtland region of Saxony in eastern Germany.
From a photo jaunt with friend and fellow F-C photographer Thomas Reitzel in 2008, as we
journeyed east to photograph the narrow gauge steam trains of the Erzgebirge region.
This image is available in archival gallery prints and as a custom printed Photo Note Card.

a picture like the illustration to a fairy-tale or legend! the electric blue of the river looks enchanted or… toxic, the sunkissed forest angelic or… albino-evil, the house chosen or… doomed! both sides of the proverbial medal seem possible, as it is the case with most fairy-tales, too: they are always wide open to both evil and good ; ))… greetings, sabine.Inez Correia Marques 30/03/2011 22:50
