Impolite to Stare

...is what Sir Reginald Duckworthy seems to be saying as he circumspectly sees to his grooming,
while the young lovers share a special moment by the fountain in Oxford England.

I was going through your pictures focusing on what I care most (airplanes and cats) and this is the photo that I like best -so far! The preview showed an awesome composition, but only after opening I saw the reflection in the pool. Great!

: )))))))) a very polite male duck indeed! must be because he's english ; ))! the specimens of our teutonic breed i'm sure couldn't have cared less! they tend to shamelessly let themselves go and lose all manners (see below – no need to comment, just for fun ; )!). a great shot, steve! i just love that smooth semi-circle of the fountain: not only does it seem to repeat the movement of the duck's head, but it also seems to connect him to the reflections of the "lovebirds", as though linking their fates on a mysterious stone-ring orbit ; ))… greetings, sabine.
