The Enjoyment of a Summer Afternoon - A Cunningham Falls Moment
Cunningham Falls State Park is home to the tallest waterfalls in the state of Maryland; and while the
falls are not prominent in the photo, I like to think the enjoyment of these two visitors most certainly is.
It has been, by and large, a brutal summer in terms of high heat and humidity. However, a brief respite, on July 11th, was most enticing for a visit to the falls, The temps and humidity were entirely comfortable and the afternoon light was so inviting. And there was the welcome serendipity of discovering two of Maryland's historic covered bridges nearby. (*)
Days since? Well, that's what air conditioning and editing of images are for.
Stay cool and healthy! And let's all hope for a comfortable - and colorful - autumn!
